Mohammed Al Roken is a prominent lawyer and human rights defender in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Al Roken (born 26 September 1962) is engaged in law practice in the areas of commercial, insurance, arbitration dispute resolutions, construction, real estate, medical liability, administrative law and constitutional law of the UAE. Dr. Al Roken is admitted as advocate and legal consultant at all levels of local and federal courts of the UAE. Dr. Al Roken has extensive and substantial experience of almost 22 years in dealing with both contention and non-contention matters in the above fields. Dr. Al Roken represents some key local and international business and commercial houses. Dr. Al Roken is also Founding Partner of Al Roken Advocates and Legal Consultant Dubai, UAE.
Dr. Al Roken has been actively involved in commercial arbitration and has represented the clients amongst others under various Arbitration Institutions, (Arbitration Rules); inter alia, DIAC Rules. Dr. Al Roken is enlisted as arbitrator on the panel of the DIAC, Sharjah and Ajman. He has been regularly appointed as arbitrator and Chairman of the arbitration tribunals by the clients and/or DIAC.
Dr. Al Roken has been the representative of the UAE at the International Chamber of Commerce, Arbitration Court, (ICC) Paris, France, for the year 2004.
