Mexico Alba Cruz receives new threats

On 30 april 2013, Alba Cruz has received new threats. In a text message, she was referred to as ‘mami’. The senders wrote to let her know that they were not ready with her yet. It happened on the day that Peace Brigades International nominated Alba Cruz for the Premio de Derechos Humanos Gilberto Bosques, a human rights prize of the French and German embassies in Mexico. L4L supported the nomination; see our recommendation letter here.

See for more information on the new threats this call from Amnesty International.
