L4L UPR Filipijnen

L4L heeft een Submission ingediend voor de Universal Periodic Review (UPR) van de Filipijnen bij de United Nations Human Rights Council. De situatie voor mensenrechten advocaten in de Filipijnen laat nog steeds te wensen over, en L4L was in staat gedetailleerde aanbevelingen te doen, mede door de kennis die wij hebben opgedaan op onze fact-finding missions in de Filipijnen in 2006 en 2008. De daadwerkelijke review van de Filipijnen zal plaatsvinden in mei 2012.
