Awareness

We create awareness among lawyers and other stakeholders about the crucial role that lawyers play in the proper functioning of the rule of law and the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. We base ourselves on the Basic Principles on the Role of Lawyers of the United Nations. We do this for example by organizing workshops and seminars.

Activities

We undertake various activities within the framework of our programs. For example, we write letters to the authorities of the lawyer’s country of origin, we organize social media campaigns, make statements and publish press releases or speak to governments, international institutions and bar associations. We also monitor the violations of the professional immunities and privileges of lawyers, including through trial observations and fact finding missions.
