Turkije Zitting Ümit Kocasakal uitgesteld tot 12 oktober

De eerste zitting in het proces tegen de voorzitter van de advocatenorde van Istanbul Ümit Kocasakal en negen andere advocaten is op 17 mei begonnen. De zitting werd echter uitgesteld tot 12 oktober omdat er veel meer mensen op de zitting waren afgekomen dan waar plek voor was in de rechtszaal. Tussen hen was een delegatie van L4L en Fair Trial Watch. Hans van Veggel, oud Amsterdams deken, maakte deel uit van de delegatie.

Kocasakal en de andere advocaten wordt ten laste gelegd dat zij hebben geprobeerd een eerlijk proces te beïnvloeden.
