Thai human rights lawyer Sirikan Charoensiri – known to friends as ‘June’- was the first woman to receive the Lawyers for Lawyers (L4L) Award one year ago. She was rewarded for her ‘unwavering courage and commitment’ in defending human rights in Thailand.
