L4L geschokt door liquidatie advocaat

Lawyers for Lawyers is geschokt door de liquidatie van advocaat Derk Wiersum (44). Onze gedachten gaan uit naar zijn nabestaanden en familie.

Derk Wiersum werd op 18 september in Amsterdam in de uitoefening van zijn beroep doodgeschoten. Hij was onder meer de advocaat van Nabil B., kroongetuige in het grote liquidatieproces tegen de criminele organisatie van Ridouan Taghi. Volgende week zou het proces met de kroongetuige verder gaan.

Net als vele anderen maakt Lawyers for Lawyers zich ernstige zorgen over het effect van deze vreselijke gebeurtenis op de advocatuur en de rechtsstaat. Wij zullen de zaak vanzelfsprekend op de voet volgen.
