Recap L4L Award Ceremony 2023
On 11 May, the Award Ceremony of the #L4LAward took place in the Rode Hoed which was presented by 2021 Belarusian laureate Mila Kazak to 2023 laureate #ClaudiaGonzálezOrellana from Guatemala!
Before the ceremony, the seminar ‘Lawyer-client confidentiality in a digitalised society’ with lawyers from the Netherlands, Palestine and Poland took place which gave insights into violations of the right to privilege in different parts of the world.
This problem is also an issue in the Netherlands, as was highlighted by one of the speakers and as demonstrated by a ruling of the Den Bosch Court of Appeal last week. Read more here.
