China Gao Zhisheng precies één jaar vermist

Op 1 februari 2009 werd Gao Zhisheng, advocaat en bekend criticus van de Communistische Partij, meegenomen door politieagenten in burger. Sindsdien is niets meer van hem vernomen. Volgens de broer van de advocaat heeft de politie verklaard dat Gao ‘verdwaalde en is verdwenen’. Het feit dat voor Gao’s familie en de internationale gemeenschap onduidelijk is waar hij verblijft, is zeer zorgwekkend omdat Gao tijdens een eerdere periode van detentie zwaar is gemarteld.
